What this website processes
This website uses no analytics or tracking services, no advertising cookies and no embedded third-party content. Fonts are served from our own server; no requests are made to Google Fonts.
Cookie and local settings
When you pick a language in the language switcher, one technically necessary cookie (“metora-locale”) stores that choice for one year. When you switch the colour scheme, that setting is stored only in your browser (localStorage). Neither is used for any other purpose or shared with third parties; nothing is stored unless you make a choice (§ 165(3) TKG 2021).
Server logs
When you visit the website, our hosting provider Hostinger processes technically necessary connection data (e.g. IP address, time, page requested). Retention period for these server logs: 1 year. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (secure operation of the website).
Contact by email
If you write to us by email, we process your details to answer your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). We delete the data once it is no longer needed for handling the inquiry and no statutory retention obligations apply.
External links and web app
This website links to third-party websites (e.g. JETRO, IPMI, greenstart and funding institutions); their operators' privacy notices apply there. The metora web app is a separate access-restricted system for customers and pilot partners; this policy covers the website only.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Complaints can be lodged with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde): Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb@dsb.gv.at (Art. 77 GDPR).
